Motion Graphics With TOOLL

Overview

Take a creative dive into the world of real-time visuals. This workshop introduces participants to TOOLL, a powerful, open-source platform for generating motion graphics, visual effects, and immersive visuals for installations, performances, and VJing.

Designed to be easy to start with yet incredibly deep, TOOLL bridges fast rendering, procedural creativity, and detailed keyframe control. Whether you want to create audio-reactive VJ performances, build dynamic generative systems, or combine hand-crafted animation with smart automation, TOOLL provides a playground for experimentation and professional-quality results.

This course is open to beginners and experienced creators alike—no prior motion graphics experience is required.

Objective

This workshop serves as an introduction to motion graphics design and real-time visual performance using TOOLL. Participants will gain hands-on experience creating visuals that respond to audio, designing procedural animations, and refining custom motion graphics workflows for both live and studio contexts.

Laptop or computer with ORCA installed (Session 1 will walk you through installation)
